About Us

Strengthening The Community

For over thirty years, My Tax Pro has been driven by a single truth- helping the individual succeed brings success to the entire community. Case by case and client-by-client, it isn’t just a matter of resolving outstanding tax issues or balancing books- it’s about helping people help themselves so they in turn can strengthen their communities. Each new client offers new challenges but also new opportunities for growth and empowerment.

Making A Difference

The average Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or tax lawyer is, in our opinion, focused on finding an adequate resolution to the problem they are handed, but not much more. They offer short term fixes to long-term problems. Their industry is volume based- the more people they see, the more work they do, the faster they close the case, the more profit they can expect. They may be able to provide the results you need for any given particular issue, but can’t give you the extra time and care to help you identify what could be done better moving forward. They may not know how to guide you to implement a plan of action regarding your taxes and business bookkeeping that would benefit you for years to come.

The team at My Tax Pro takes great pride in keeping up to date on the ever-changing tax laws, best practices in tax preparation and tax planning strategy. Specializing in bookkeeping and resolving a multitude of IRS related issues, the staff will work tirelessly to ensure that their clients are well prepared for a prosperous future. Years of experience matched with an innovative spirit ensure that every case is handled with unparalleled expertise and extreme care. The firm’s mission is to coach everyday people to be successful, which elevates the community as a whole.

Serving clients in Austin, Texas, and beyond, you can be sure you and your case will get the personalized attention you deserve.

Who We Are

We are your Enrolled Agent (EA). What is an EA?

An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by either passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns, or through experience as a former IRS employee. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.

Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.
